How to make your office a productive space

  • Plan, plan, plan.
  • Consider how many people will be using the space and how much storage they require.
  • Think about the natural light and where it is coming from. Will it affect your screen and work?
  • Do you need task lighting?
  • If you are not the tidiest in your working environment, then conceal the workspace.
  • If you have filing, consider a mobile file drawer on wheels, that way it can be pulled out from under your desk and used as another work space.
  • Buy yourself a funky office chair to make a statement in the room.
  • Select materials that are practical to work on.
  • Does the office space need to be multi purpose? Consider a divan instead of a lounge.
  • Adding wallpaper or a wallpaper mural can really enhance a tired office space.
